For the record, Shatner is now 82! Not bad....

Seeing Shatern give him "the Kirk" reminded me of the song about that by one of my favorite old horrible punk bands, The Mummies. Sadly, there doesn't seem to be a video of the Mummies playing "doing the Kirk", but somewhat amazingly, there is this video of some band doing a Mummies tribute set (!) playing the song:

(the only thing good about The Mummies, other than this song, was that they dressed up like mummies when they played, and once releases a supposed "split 7"" with a group called "The Wolfmen" called "Mummies vs Wolfmen", where the reviewer noted that the wolfmen in fact sounded suspiciously close to the Mummies.)
