Science is Stunning, Sometimes

The must-see video of the day: compiled and corrected footage from two different space shuttle flights results in our being able to watch, and listen, as the space shuttle's powerful booster rockets lift it over 15 miles above the Earth, beyond the atmosphere, and then follows those rockets as they tumble and return to earth, at many hundred of miles an hour. Be sure to watch this somewhere you can crank the sound; that's more than half the thrill.

NASA and Skywalker Sounds, kudos to you!
