A friend of mine recently got me to rethink The Rolling Stones--or at least to rethink Keith Richards and his place in that rock and roll band. He sent me a copy of the wonderful A Stone Alone, a collection of bootleg solo recordings by Richards from the late 70s and early 80s, and it blew me away. Then he sent me this, and I was stunned. Apparently, there's a whole lot more classic musicianship in Keef than I'd ever dreamed.
Thanks for that. Very nice.

And Happy Fathers' Day.
