We only made it all the way through three times. But the truth is, one part, where we come down a waterfall, the action got a little behind, and three times, we actually got all the way through, the camera guy only got it once. So there is a bit of an edit in there. One edit. The machine did run all the way through each time, though, which is important."The Modesto Kidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13495938191100565263noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7907752.post-80506369562291290962010-03-03T14:20:07.461-06:002010-03-03T14:20:07.461-06:00Oh, and I found this about the video.Oh, and I found this about the video.Melissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00217383813263874657noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7907752.post-11025814315597883622010-03-03T12:20:12.017-06:002010-03-03T12:20:12.017-06:00Not asking where you found it, but it sure made my...Not asking where you found it, but it sure made my day!! :-DMelissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00217383813263874657noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7907752.post-52978091707999848292010-03-03T10:56:57.547-06:002010-03-03T10:56:57.547-06:00AWESOME....like you rightly labeled it.....however...AWESOME....like you rightly labeled it.....however, it was done!!

But, Man what if it was a Perfect take!!!!Abe Foxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10671735790447649472noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7907752.post-3924408200362707842010-03-03T10:23:26.707-06:002010-03-03T10:23:26.707-06:00There was an episode of Mythbusters where they did...There was an episode of Mythbusters where they did a set-up like this (although significantly smaller) and worked it through a few times until the whole arrangement went in one go. So I think there are two ways to do this: lots of takes with edits, or lots of takes until you get one that doesn't need edits. I will note that there are a number of points where the transfer of momentum from one event to another is off camera and could have been helped along by direct intervention if necessary.AthieVhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02356796270830610231noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7907752.post-29706314750422020422010-03-03T09:24:36.143-06:002010-03-03T09:24:36.143-06:00As far as I know, Modesto, they're still with ...As far as I know, Modesto, they're still with the same label. Was Kulash firing a warning shot across EMI's bows, "We're about to put a video up on the web, our fans will embed it, if you disable embedding you're going to look like assholes" -- or has EMI seen the light? (Or is OK Go with a different label now?)The Modesto Kidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13495938191100565263noreply@blogger.com
